Rebekah Gibson

Rebekah Gibson graduated from the University of Georgia receiving a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and then a Master of Science in Soils and Hydrology making her a “Double Dawg” and cementing her love for UGA.  Rebekah utilizes her degrees as Co-Founder and Owner of Soil Erosion and Education, LLC and as a Partner in Education for many of the school gardens in Cherokee County.  Soil Erosion and Education, LLC is the proud adopter of a mile of Ball Ground Highway.  Rebekah participates in many of the Adopt-A-Mile and river clean ups. Rebekah also serves as a board member and volunteers her time and skills with a number of organizations, including Upper Etowah River Alliance, Cherokee Master Gardener and Master Naturalist, 4-H Wildlife Coach, Boys and Girls Club, Cecil Pruitt YMCA, United Way, Cherokee Family Violence Center, Chin Up Mentor with the Children’s Haven, Cherokee County Chamber Leadership Cherokee Class of 2023, and Canton Rotary Club. Rebekah joined the Keep Cherokee Beautiful Board in October 2024.
