Vic Knight started his career in the waste and recycling industry in June of 1989 as a sales representative with Browning Ferris Industries (now Republic). After working with an independent company, Vic started with Waste Management in March of 2001 and has spent most of the last 20 years at Waste Management. Vic’s responsibilities at Waste Management include managing waste and recycling contracts with municipalities and local and state agencies. He currently serves on the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Prior to joining Keep Cherokee Beautiful as a charter board member, Vic served for 8 years as a board member for Keep Cobb Beautiful. Born in Georgia, Vic is a life-long resident of the state, with over 10 years as a Cherokee County resident and 25 years working in the county.
